At present the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is fell in crises through dropping some MLAs from the party and shown utter flop in recent By Elections. Most of the TD leaders thinking that there is a need to take a amazing new leadership to the Party. Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna has been providing his help to the party when the party is in crises. Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Balayya have discussed together on recent issues in the party.
Balayya had said a week ago that he would take a dynamic position in TDP affairs and had backed brother-in-law and party president Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu to lead the party in the 2014 elections. He also dismissed the demand for a change of leadership.
It is expected to decided that the full-fledged political entry of Balakrishna will soon with honorable designation in the party to play a key role and to solve many issues in the party.
Sources said that Mr. Balakrishna could be inducted as General Secretary and be given a place in the Politburo as a full-fledged member or special invitee.
If Mr. Balakrishna gets the desirable post, he would be the second member from the NTR clan to play a key role in party affairs, after brother and party MP, Mr. N. Harikrishna.
TDP leaders say the induction of Balakrishna would surely fill fresh blood in the party reeling under defeats and defections.
At present there are 16 politburo members including, Mr. Naidu and 11 State General Secretaries in the Party. Recently, Politburo Member Mrs. U. Kalpana quit the party and is likely to join the YSR Congress.
